Q: What are the hours of operation for Pig Tales?
A: Pig Tales operates under a seasonal schedule and is typically open daily for lunch and dinner March through October. During Spring and Summer, we are open daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Please note that closing hours vary seasonally so check to verify hours on website.
Q: Do you offer Takeout or To Go Orders?
A: Our entire menu, except alcohol, can be ordered for takeout by phone or in person with a server or bartender. Online ordering coming soon!
Q: Do you offer Catering services?
A: We offer catering services through Lake Lanier Catering, which provides menu offerings from both our lakeside restaurants, Fish Tales and Pig Tales. Please submit a Contact Form and provide some information about your event and catering needs and a representative will respond as soon as your request is received.
Q: Do you offer group discounts?
A: Rather than offer a discount to one particular group of guests, we believe our responsibility is to make sure we're providing the best dining value possible to every guest who joins us for lunch or dinner.
Q: Where can I get a coupon?
A: Sign up for our Mailing List and "Like" us on Facebook to receive information about our special deals and promotions.
Q: Do you offer a military discount or any discount for police/first responders?
A: Our company holds a high level of appreciation and respect towards our military, police and first responders. We offer a 10% discount to anyone who presents proper credentials as an appreciation of service.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: We are a casual dining restaurant. Be comfortable and feel free to come as you are, just come hungry!
Q: Is your restaurant family-friendly?
A: Absolutely! If you need a kids' menu, highchair or booster seat, please ask your host or server.
Q: Are you handicap accessible?
A: We have handicap accessible parking right in front of the restaurant and have a handicap ramp that can be used to for easy access to our dining area. Please alert the host team when you check in if using wheelchair so they can arrange a table that's easier and closer to access.
Q: Are you pet-friendly?
A: Pig Tales is pet friendly and we welcome any well-behaved leashed dogs! We also have a dog water station and water bowls available for you to use while dining with us.
Q: Are there requirements for Leashed Dogs while dining at your restaurant?
A: In accordance with the Georgia Department of Public Health Rules and Regulations, Food Service Chapter 511-6-1, the following rules must be followed…
1. Pet dogs are not allowed on chairs, tables, and other furnishings. They are not allowed to sit on customer's laps and must remain on the ground.
2. Employees and customers may not provide food to pet dogs.
3. Pet dogs must always be on a leash and under the control of the customer.
4. Pet dogs may not come into contact with serving dishes, utensils and tableware
Q: Do you have WiFi?
A: Yes, wi-fi is available for you to enjoy while dining with us!
Q: Can I arrive to Pig Tales by boat?
A: Yes, there are courtesy docks available for your boat! Pig Tales is located within Safe Harbor Aqualand Marina and coordinates are: 34 °12'30"N 83 °58'16"W.
Q: Can I get a copy of my receipt?
A: For itemized receipts within 90 days, please submit a Contact Us form. For signed copies of credit/debit card receipts, you will need to contact the bank that issued the card to obtain a copy. Your bank card should have a toll-free customer service number on the back you can call for assistance.
Q: Who do I contact about an incorrect charge on my bill/credit card?
A: For the most immediate assistance regarding errors with your bill or charges, we recommend calling the restaurant and speaking with a manager. You may also submit a Contact Us form and we will follow up as soon as the request is received.
Q: Advertising Vendor Inquiries
A: Any proposals or requests regarding advertising should be directed to our marketing team. They may be reached by email.
Gift Cards
Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: You can purchase a gift card at any time at the restaurant during normal business hours through a manager, server or bartender. If interested in purchasing a gift card but unable to make a trip to the restaurant to do so, send in a request via email and a representative will contact you to conduct the purchase over the phone and can mail the gift card to any address provided
Q: How do I check the balance on my gift card?
A: You can check your balance online by using the information provided on the back of your card.
Q: What if my gift card is lost or stolen?
A: Sorry, but we are unable to replace or provide refunds for Gift Cards that have been lost or stolen.
Q: If I purchase a gift card, can it also be used at your sister location, Fish Tales?
A: Yes! Our gift cards are redeemable at both of our lakeside restaurants, Fish Tales and Pig Tales!
Donations
Q: Does Pig Tales make charitable donations?
A: Pig Tales actively participates with community-based charities, causes, and fundraising events to help serve and enrich our community. In supporting our core values, we strive to help Georgia children in need and support charities such as Camp Sunshine, Camp Twin Lakes and the Boys & Girls Club of Lanier, among many others. Pig Tales also gives back to our communities all year long by donating gift cards to various charitable groups and events.
Q: How do I make a request for a donation of food or a gift card?
A: Our company strives to help as many organizations as we can and is always looking for impactful ways to support the community in which we operate. Our resources are limited, so donation requests are reserved for non-profit, charitable organizations that align with our core values. Requests should be made in writing and should be emailed on your company's letterhead at least six weeks before your request is needed. We appreciate your understanding in advance that we are not able to support all of the requests that we receive.
Q: Will Pig Tales sponsor my sports team or event?
A: Our resources are limited, so sponsorship requests are reserved for non-profit, charitable organizations that align with our core values. Requests should be made in writing and be Emailed to us on your company's letterhead at least six weeks before your request is needed. We appreciate your understanding in advance that we are not able to support all of the requests that we receive.
